Trostel LTD. Acquires Specific Product Lines from Chicago-Allis Manufacturing Corporation
Agreement allows Trostel to extend mechanical face seal and rubber molded products capabilities
Lake Geneva, Wis. – Trostel Ltd. today announced it has reached an agreement to acquire specific product lines, intellectual property and related equipment from Chicago-Allis Manufacturing Corporation.
Matthew O’Sullivan, President and CEO of Trostel, said the agreement with the Chicago, Illinois-based company supports Trostel’s strategic growth initiatives and allows it to further extend its mechanical face seal and rubber molded products capabilities.
O’Sullivan noted that the Chicago-Allis Manufacturing Corporation has a long history as a family-owned company similar to the Trostel heritage. Trostel, which has manufacturing locations in Whitewater, Wisconsin and Reynosa, Mexico, is headquartered in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Chicago-Allis also designs and manufactures sealing products that serve a variety of markets, including diesel, heavy equipment, and appliance markets.
“The Chicago-Allis product offerings and markets will combine well with Trostel’s capabilities and create an opportunity for our organization to provide a higher level of customer service and technical support,” stated O’Sullivan.
