Overview
The Production Manager is responsible to direct the day to day operations at the Polymer Compounding Facility. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules and process engineering for rubber mixing and preforming, developing and maintaining plant budgets, ensuring effective use of facilities and personnel, and developing plant policies consistent with company policies and objectives.
Education:
Minimum of B.S in technical engineering discipline
Requirements:
Prior leadership role in the rubber mixing facility with specific assignments in engineering and/or operations.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain training and development programs
Demonstrated proactive results oriented management style that commands the respect of peers and subordinates.
Demonstrated prior results in the operational measures – quality, delivery, productivity, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Minimum of 5 years related experience in rubber mixing, extrusion and/or rubber compounding.
Demonstrated skills working with computers (Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and a Mainframe), project management and quality tools (problems solving, corrective action, control plans, process flow, etc.).
Knowledge of TS16949 preferred

Overview:
The position of Commodity Specialist is a mid-level purchasing position in a multi-plant organization reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. The individual enjoys a myriad of responsibilities within the purchasing function along with specific commodities of control.
Education:
Experience Requirements:
-Demonstrated technical competency in purchasing, negotiating and strategy development.
-Ability to read blueprints and interact with Engineering Teams
-A minimum of 5 years in mid-level purchasing role or higher CPM certification preferred.

-Purchasing of a variety of raw materials and components, including chemicals for rubber mixing industry
-Positive, professional relationships with suppliers and vendors
-Experience developing and identifying Asian sourcing preferred
-Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
-MAPICS experience is beneficial
